2017 Northern Ontario Country Music Awards

On Saturday November 4, 2017 we honoured 9 new inductees into the Great Northern Opry including: Stan Wilkolaski - North Bay, Nipissing District; Denis Charette - Iroquois Falls, Cochrane District; Don Guillemette - North Bay, Nipissing District; Leo Bujold - Timmins, Cochrane District; George Sherrard - Goulais River, Algoma District; Patty Dunlop - Blind River, Algoma District; Ken Stafford - Goulais River, Algoma District; Bob McDonald - Goulais River, Algoma District; and Loma Lyns - Sudbury, Sudbury District We also inducted a new member into the Northern Ontario Country Music Hall of Fame. Eugene Manitowabi, of Wikwemikong Unceded Reserve on Manitoulin Island is the newest Hall of Fame inductee.
